WELLER JOLLY JELLY PROJECT THE 10¢ FLAPPER GOB ROCKETS THE NAG-O-VOID This project uses strips of recycled cardboard to create a sculpture where elements representing daily tasks are placed within the voids of the sculpture to show ongoing progress. This fun visual aid may contribute to a home environment where adults will no longer need to continually ask (possibly NAG!) their children about taking care of school projects and household chores. Let’s avoid the need for nagging – let’s NAG-O-VOID! MATERIALS: • 12” ruler • glue (stick or white) • cardboard box (cereal box or other) • tape (any tape will do) • 8.5” x 11” paper (recycled is best) • tub of water • small ceramic or glass plate • marker or pencil THE 8.5” x 11” CHALLENGE MORTARBOARD & TASSEL Students learn how to create a mortarboard and tassel for graduation à la quarantine. No matter if graduation is at home, is virtual or if it develops into a social distancing affair, nothing should get in the way of being prepared with the appropriate headgear and associated graduation music.
